Brethren – Heads Up – Key Update – Google will soon shame “ALL WEBSITES” that are unencrypted – Pease take note.

Ref: SandF Update – Google will soon shame all websites that are unencrypted

Hope you are all well; please note Google are driving the above agenda, this has not come into force as yet, hence Heads Up.

Google Update :

All sites will have to have what we call an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificates, simply put this would be mean as following

1) It will inform all “User’s” that the site they are visiting is unsafe / unsecured, regardless on any online transactions when submitting their email address, online message, contact us page and more

2) Google will also rank those websites “without” SSL Certificates downward in terms of search engine ranking

3) The objective is to create an additional layer of security from spammers, reduce junk emails

4) Generate income.

At SandF our objective is to stay ahead of the game, keep you informed of impending costs, please do forward the information to all the brethren within their respective lodges as well as those who have business websites.

Newdegate Lodge 5102 – Website Feedback – Nigel Smith

Ash Patel has been a great assistance in creating the lodge website for Newdegate Lodge 5102, my computer skills being limited, his assistance, attention to detail and time to take me through the various steps in creating the website, this has enabled the lodge to move forward with it’s website.
I have no hesitation in recommending SandF.

Ash Patel has made great efforts to improve the Web presence for our Lodge of Charity 1551 (Province of Warwickshire). His services and attention to detail have been most welcome to me, as my Web skills are minimal. Ash is an extremely helpful, attentive and friendly person who’s service I believe can help us bring Masonry into the 21st century and therefore attract younger members, who will be the lifeblood of Masonry moving forward.

Based on my personal experience, I would encourage other Lodges to explore his services, as I did (without any obligation) to see if he can assist them to enhance their Web and Social Media presence.
